Want a sneak peak into my swingin’ single Rock n Roll lifestyle? You got it!
Here’s another one of my entries in Second City’s 7 Day Shorts.
This week, when the audience was asked for a suggestion via the question “What’s something you might be in charge of?”, “KIDS!” was what was heard. (Thank Allison Estep.)
Every Tuesday night in Chicago, the Second City Training Center’s amazing faculty performs a fully improvised show based a single suggestion from the audience. Then, The Second City community has 7 days to create a short, two-minute film inspired by that suggestion. The shorts are screened in front of a live audience the following Tuesday night before the faculty’s next performance.
We have 7 days, but, as with this video, I’m typically cranking them out in less than 7 hours a day or two before the show.

I’m totally 100% self taught when it comes to Illustrator, meaning I don’t know what the hell I am doing. But with the help of the amazing people who provide tutorials on YouTube (you can learn anything on YouTube) I FINALLY am making some strides in digital inking.
This SpongeBob tutorial by Sherm Cohen in particular was more helpful than anything else I’ve ever looked at. (Pen Tool, you can kiss my ass from now on).
Christ, I am a slow artist. I started inking (figuring how to ink) about 3 hours ago. Here’s where I’m at. Never thought Snooki would keep me up so late, but I can’t say I still really think of this doodle as her.
