Death at a Funeral (and something about Tiger Woods)

2010 January 7

Saw rumors on the internets that Tiger might have some dudes to add to the list of dudettes he was catting around with on the back nine*.

Don’t know, don’t care.

However, speaking of guys on the downlow, I’m really looking forward to seeing this flick.  Looks like the kind of hilarious where you would pronounce it “HI-larious” to emphasize how hilarious you really think it is.  THAT hilarious.

We’re talking Chris Rock, Tracy Morgan, Martin Lawrence, Danny Glover, along with Star Trek’s Zoe Saldana (I want to go to there), Owen Wilson’s brother from the AT&T spots, that midget who somehow got exclusive rights to be in every movie or TV show that calls for a midget…

It’s an American remake of a recent British flick, so you know it’s going to be good–just look what we did with The Office! Then again, Rock also tried his hand at remaking Heaven Can Wait with Down to Earth, and that could have waited indefinitely.  Still, I’m optimistic. This trailer made me laugh out loud more than once.

Regarding my joke about the midget (who I’m sure prefers being called “Peter”).  How tight is his stranglehold on such parts?  In the original British version of the film, Peter Dinklage’s role was played by…   Peter Dinklage.

*Henceforth, let it be known that when you want to refer to a man or woman who is in a committed relationship, but also seeing another person on the side, it will now be said that they are “seeing someone on the back nine”.  Thank you, Tiger.  I will never say nothing good came out of your scandal.  ~Adam Joe
